In view of the continuous impact of COVID-19 on research activities and based on the decision made by the directors' meeting on November 11th, the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion has decided to extend the launch deadline further for approved Summer Schools and Workshops, which should start not later than June 30th, 2022.

By resolution of the directors' meeting on August 26th, 2021, Summer Schools and Workshops can also be held  as online or hybrid events. In the case of postponements or online/hybrid implementation, you are kindly requested to inform the SGC accordingly. Redisposition of funds  for the implementation of online events (e.g. for purchasing video conferencing equipment or software licenses), requires  approval by the SGC.
